The In the Know Hub is a new community-led initiative opening next week at Eastgate Shopping Centre. The hub will be the place to go to ask questions to help you better understand the repair or rebuild process, connect with the right people and get the assistance you need to move forward.
The hub is being set up as a place of support, staffed by people from various organisations who are there to hear your concerns and help provide some answers. The hub will provide an opportunity to meet with these people face-to-face, connect with them and learn from the information they are sharing.
Agencies who will be taking turns being based at the Hub include CanCERN, Residential Advisory Service (RAS), Canterbury Earthquake Temporary Accommodation Service, Earthquake Support Coordination Service, EQC, Christchurch City Council and others. Not all agencies are at the hub each day, so be sure to check the timetable in the link provided below.
The hub will be open from April 20th to June 26th. The open hours will be Monday to Wednesday 9am – 6pm, and Thursday 9am – 8pm (the hub will be closed from Friday to Sunday and on public holidays).
